During university, the first idea took shape: to make learning not just more effective, but more playful, motivating and alive.
In her bachelor's thesis, Annika developed the first subject-matter and didactic concept for Learn Battle.
With the FH Aachen Fellowship, the idea got its first official push to be further developed and didactically validated.
Thanks to funding from STARTUP Transfer.NRW, the concept became a market-ready digital learning product.
In October 2024, Learn Battle Beta officially went live and became accessible to learners and teachers for the first time.
With the founding of Lioverse UG, Learn Battle gained a long-term home and a clear entrepreneurial foundation.
By early 2026, Learn Battle had already reached over 7,000 learners and accompanied them on their learning journey.
Today, Learn Battle is active at multiple institutions and is growing step by step into a learning universe for digital teaching, motivation and exam preparation.
